Washers on stock needles?

Finally opened the carbs for the first time on this bike, and there's 1 small washer on my carb needle. Is this stock or the PO's work?

I got my washers down the street at macs hardware in the second row. If you are looking for washers that work well on the needles. You said you work at a caterpillar dealer so i figure your prolly on north cliff anyways

Nah, we're on the other side of town, Russel exit off I-29

But, I got a bunch of washers when I had my Nighthawk. I had a tough time getting the damn springs back, but wow it woke the bike up. It really rips now, hoping the rain quits so I can test ride it. The PO put a K&N in it, so I was hoping they did a jet kit too, but no such luck. Hoping my Vance & Hines show up soon, so the 'Hawk can be "completed" for a while...
