Tear down, mod, and rebuild

Been a while since I've been on here so just thought I'd share what I am doing to the VTR this winter. Performance upgrades are going to be: Hi comp pistons, port the heads and Flo bench them, header back exhaust, carb rebuild and tune, cam swap, lighten the flywheel, ARP hardware, and ignition advance.
Cosmetic work is going to be keyless ignition, race fairings, paint, digital cluster, and color match the rims fork lowers and accent stripe. Hoping to have it done by spring. Just to think I was going to just do the valve adjustments becuase I'm at 15,980mi but now I got her pulled all the way apart. Lol

Thanks for the heads-up, Squid. I'll make a note to block out one season when valve adjust time rolls around.

Hey Squid, what is the intermatic timer timing? Inquiring minds want to know.

How much do you think you will have in materials?

Haha, yeah I got a "little" carried away. I was also going to do a deep clean and check on wear components as well and as one thing lead to another I convinced my self it was time to do what I have wanted to do.

I'm really confused. Is it something you see in a pic, or are you just trying to screw with me? because that sounds pretty fake. Lol

No clue as of yet. I'll let you know when all is said and done but I am going to try and stay under 2500. But I know that doesn't always work.

I'm interested in doing a keyless ignition on mine too and linking it to my Nissan keyless fob so I only need one key fob for both - it shouldn't be too difficult to get the ids sent and all and the actual wiring should be quite simple... But are there kits or are you making it from scratch?
