Bike's looking good! I love the high mounts.... And the head pipes match real well with the blacked out wheels, it's a shame you couldnt get black or carbon slips and paint the pipes black and do it all the way.

You gonna put the plastics back on, or streetfighter it?

I ran my bike without bar weights when I first got it...had none....after putting them on, I like having them there. Of course, for some reason, I have a really wide grip on my right hand....throttle hand tends to rest on the VERY outside of the grip, so having the weight there to support the side of my hand helps with the carpal tunnel I've got.

Are you going to streetfight it? If you do I would suggest buying a lower fairing for it. I've heard of guys using 929 radiators instead of the stock ones. Just a thought.

Well, that's true and they did! I'm just giving you ****! Maybe if the USN cancels all activities because of the weather tomorrow we can breathe a little magic into the new ones as well.

Lube up the axle real good and put it between two level jackstands. Balance that sucka yourself. Clean the area of the wheel with brake cleaner before attaching the weights. They stick better thatta way.

I just made my own balancer, and monkeys can do it. Its sweet. You just need a 3/8 to 1/2" stainless rod, to Al cones that have set screws in them, and a way to support it on some rollerblade bearings and voila, balancer. It was pretty easy as well due to the fact i have a machine shop that I can use whenever I want.

I've been a tire guy for 3 years and I gotta say, that's pretty neat.

We're stuck with old-school Coats machines that scratch the bejesus out of everything if you don't have perfect technique....and motorcycle tires, forget it unless you remove the rotors/drive sprocket.

You dont have an old beat-up model just laying around do ya?

Um, no. Just have the Pro model I got for Xmas two years ago. Plus the company is 14 hours from here. I'm in NY. NoMar is in St. Louis. If you go to any of the rallies/expos that he goes to you can pick up the demo for about $100 off, plus save on shipping. Give him a call and see if he's going to be in your area anytime soon.
