Stroking the Super Hawk

While inside these motors I noticed plenty of room to stroke these guys . Of course a shorter set of Carrilo rods would need be used .

If building a stock stroke 1107cc big bore engine add on top

+ 3mm stroke = 70cc for a total 1177cc engine
+5mm stroke = 116cc for a total 1223cc engine

A big problem is the 158hp Superbike engines were using HRC and Moriwaki billet cranks because the stock crank would not hold up under road race conditions . Stroking a stock crank might just be a good way to build an expensive grenade of an engine and the billet cranks are long long gone .

Oh well , we can dream can't we ?

1107cc is enough anyway . Wanna know how to build that one ?
