Straight-fit modifications - forks, wheels, brakes, etc

Hey guys

Thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where mods that bolt on easily could be discussed, so everyone knows what parts from what bikes fit ours! Obviously anything could fit with enough work but im interested in stuff that goes straight on as i dont want my bike off the road and dont have major fabrication skills or an advanced tool kit.

so, what fits right on? Im interested in

Shock
Forks
Wheels
Calipers
Reg/Rectifier

I have heard tell of calipers from an F4i being common on here, do they fit straight on and could someone define what particlar model an F4i please as i think it is called something else here in the uk cos every time i look for stuff i only find f4i on american sites. i think its our cbr 600 / cbr 600f but uncertain. is it the 2000-2004 model?

That would be CBR600 f4i and yes the name is the same in UK/Europe as well, but the americans tend to leave out the family name and call a bike by the specific model and in the UK it's more common to clump them together under the family name... Dunno why...

As for shocks/forks there are none that are straight bolt on per see... They all require some work or mixing and matching of parts from more than one donor bike...

Wheels... https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=13106

Brakes... https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=13176

BTW there is a reason it's not in one thread as it would be huge... search is a useful tool... use it...
