so i emailed jamie yesterday hoping he would have a shifter left to sell but he does not..
needs a few more people to want one before he does a run of them...

anyone else interested, i heard it makes a big difference, or does anyone have one for sale?

 

Jamie makes a nice, solid, adjustable shifter and yes it does make a difference.

Good luck with your inquiry! You may get a few to say yah, but I'm afraid when the time comes to pay, you may suddenly get the sound of criquets.

I have one and I recommend getting DMr's any day, it made the shifting smooth and easy, clunkiness disappeared entirely, shifting like a new bike.

I am looking for a gear shifter for my VTR 100 Firestorm (european name of Super Hawk) in order to reduce dead movement of the original shifter and a bit of adjustability (bigger foot) and compared to original slightly longer shiftrod.

Can anyone help me with that?

No idea if this is still an option but I'd be in on the group buy, would love a smoother shift.

 

All the slop present in the stock shifter is eliminated. A very worthwhile upgrade.
I would think there are many owners out there that are still running stock, enough to get to the minimum needed for a run. What are y'all waiting for?

You bet, I can make another run. This was one of the most fun things I ever made, even though it was a little on the fringe from a business perspective.

This is the busiest time of the year for DMr so I can't guarantee when they will be ready. Anyone who is interested should email me at jamie@daughertymotorsports.com and include the year of your VTR. You won't need to make any payment up front, I'll just compile a list and will contact you when they are ready.
