RC51's front brake master cylinder p/n ?

guys,
sourcing RC51 front calipers and master cylinder for my '97 vtr 1000f.
found the calipers (year info pending).

trying to identify the correct master cylinder p/n to procure
and a source if anyone has one (used).
ebay stuff seems to be thrashed or misrepresented based on people's comments.

i recall seeing a reference to an online source for p/n's today during my hours of reading the forums here. but for life of me didn't record it.

all a bit fuzzy now.... help ?

RC51 front brake master cylinder p/n ?

I believe the calipers are rc51 calipers p/n 45150-MCF-D31 .

would year pertain to effectivity for my '97 ?
recall the 97-04 VTR's are pretty much the same for components.

any assistance greatly appreciated,

james

Hey James, Pm'd you again. Ronayers.com's microfiche will give you any part #'s you need. They show the same part #'s for all years for the RC51 for both the calipers and m/c.

SP-1s used a larger MC and calipers (same as 929) while the SP-2s used slightly smaller MC and caliper piston sizes (thought they look outwardly the same); same set-up as the 954.

Front Brake MC/Callliper size differences

guys,
Here is what I found in respective year mfgr repair manuals for the bikes.

From all the forum research I have done, I presume the improvements for the front brakes are increasing the size of the MC & Calliper pistons (RC51's more surface area) over the smaller diameter (RTV/VTR's) used on the early years mfgr.

2000-2006
Caliper OD 33.878 (1.338) and 31.948 (1.2578)
Master cylinder ID 19.05 (.750)

1997-2003
Caliper OD 30.148 (1.1869) and 26.918 (1.0598)
Master cylinder ID 14.00 (.5512)

So as an improvement to my '97 vtr I am sourcing the RC51 (SP1 / SP2)MC/Calliper's with larger dimensions.
