Will I need to re-jet the bike after installing these. Just the slip ons nothing else. I want to try to keep myself on a budget for a while. and i can afford 420 for exhaust but nothing more.

I see , 5 days later and no reply .
The forum is young and there's alot of Super Hawk owners who don't know about this site . It will grow as time goes by though .
You can get by with shimming the needles using the Radio Shack washers and stepping up the mains with stock type small round . You don't even "have " to go to a Honda dealer to get them .... just any shop who buys from Parts Unlimited .
What is the altitude where you live ?

you can do what ever you want man, but it would be smart to rejet your bike. There are risks with running an aftermarket exhaust with out proper fuel to keep up, but at the same time it might work just fine that way. y don't you just jet and shim the carbs, its not like its something super hard to do, and its not that expensive.

Re: Race Jardine High Mounts
I haven't seen these race pipes. I ran the black alumninum highmount cans when they came out on my first 98 without any carb mods; ran OK with no large holes in the powerband, etc. Are these a newer model or just a marketing name?
Anyway, I'll also suggest shimming the needles for $2. Do a search on that mod, it's fairly simply and straightforward.
