Passenger pegs
#1
Using stock passenger pegs on mid mount mufflers.
When I mounted the RC51 mufflers I had to give up passenger pegs because the stock mounts just didn't fit the higher mounted mufflers.
So while looking through the German forum a month or so ago I found a pic of a VTR with the stock mounts relocated on the subframe.
Looked like a great idea, so I made some cardboard templates, followed by the real thing made from 1/4" aluminum plate.
I know I should have taken a pic of just the plate installed and if anybody wants to see it I'll do that tomorrow.
The first pic is the old mount.
Any questions let me know.

That is awesome, I see exactly what you did there and I'm going to have to do it soon as well. I have some passenger pegs with the stock exhaust mounting bracket that is way too low for my high-mount Two Bros. and my wife can't wait to ride with me so I need to get those pegs on soon or else she'll be wanting to go out and buy her 250 ninja like now.
I don't know though, I think my high-mounts are mounted higher than the ones in your pictures, it's still an excellent concept though; I'll see if I can make it work. Thanks for the post.
