My new full Yoshimura system

Hi folks just purchased this system for the vtr. anyone have any pics of it mounted Ive been back and forth on the net for the past 2 days and couldn't find anything then I finally decided to just drop the hammer and buy it. It looks like it will be a "high"-ish mount system. Hoping that there will be no need to rejet but I will see.... I really don't want to have to do anything like that.

Supposed to be a very good system (especially if your engine has other mods, like cams,...)

It looks like the mounting brackets are part of the mid pipes. For gaskets and clamps you can probably use the stock kind.

the engine is bone stock except for cct, I don't have any immediate plans for modding. perhaps in the future.

is the header diameter the same as stock? should I get new header gaskets or use the existing ones? thanks

can't help you on the gaskets, sorry. FWIW, my Akra system doesn't use any. If you do have to use them, however, may as well replace them while you have the exhaust off...

That really looks like the stock header. Hope you didn't pay too much for it as it looks like you actually picked up a set of slip ons.

I was thinking the same thing as I looked at the pics. That is almost definatley a stock header.

Well found it and sorry but that is a stock header. The Yosh header should look like this:

Guess I should have paid closer attention... look stock indeed, none of the fancy crossovers....

I have a Yosh full system (Stainless cans), runs fantastic with stock jetting.

not too worried about the headers, actually it takes a load off. I can resell the headers even if not for very much and that will mean the cans were even cheaper I was only in the market for some cans anyways. I too thought they were very similar to the stock headers... for good reason by the looks of it.

has anyone seen these yosh cans before with the fixed hangers ?

Thanks guys.
