i just threw my cans on a few minutes ago and i love it. of course i had to start the bike without cants on it first, that was definitely pretty cool sounding. 
i kind of like how it looks without the cans, but i probably shouldnt ride it around without them. haha.
also, i bought these from forum member oicdn. i definitely recommend him as a seller if anyone is buying anything from him.
i realize this video might be lame, but i was bored and made it pretty fast.

haha, ya. it stands out a bit. i like it though, i love green. im quite proud to own one of the few green superhawks. though i want to punch every dumbass that asks "hey, is that a ninja?" as if kawasaki owns the color green. morons. haha. oh well.

I like 'em so much, we picked up the system for my wife's SV650.

I too am a huge fan of the Jardines. Although a few months ago I decided that they were a little too long for my liking. So I got out the hack saw and removed a few inches, 5 1/2 to be exact. Now they look way better (imo) and the sound is extraordinary.

what did you wrap the pipes with? ive seen others that have done that but ive never known what they do it with. also, whats the purpose of it? did you have to prepare the mid-pipes in any way, or did you just paint them and call it good? does it seem to be sticking ok? thats all the questions for now. haha.

As for the cut-offs, just wait until you're in your 50's. I've had tinnitus (ringing in the ears) 24/7 for over 8 years now
, I'm 61. 22 years ago when I put a Supertrapp system on my '86 Nighthawk, the tinnitus was only there for about 1/2 hour after a ride.
Just something to think about.
By the way, I love the sound of loud exhaust. I just want to retain some hearing for future years.
