how many thousandths is a needle clip???

Just Doing some jetting and was wondering which washers to use. Don't have the #4 brass as I've read so many times. But I can compared the ones I have to the circlip on my DJ kit needles which i will not be using.
I don't have a measuring device and i know I am going to get one, was just hoping to figure this out before the weekends over.
thanks
I figured if a clip is around 20 then I have washers around 40 and that would do.

Not sure on the OD but you can get a general idea here.

Okay first reply didn't work. So again, thanks, this should put me around.030" of a needle shim and I'll go from here. Waiting on my pilots and I'll report back my findings.

So far set up is
800 feet alt.
180/185
2 1/2 turn Air
hindle low mounts
K&N with four strips filled in (hoping for more of an oem flow) 4 outo 17
needles shimmed .030
stock tps and have not sync carbs as I do not yet fully have that figured out. No nipple , hose or guages required to successfully complete this without totally messing it up. Learn as you go, I've had this bike less than a week.
Cheers and thanks for any input.
