Finally I Installed dem Gixxer

Calipers

Yes kids they bolt right up!!

Did it tonight w/ son assisting w/ brake bleeder.

Tried to test drive it but battery was toast - Yes have Tender but switch it back & forth to ride on mower.

Will have to wait until tomorrow I guess. Oh yeah changed the clutch fluid too.

That brings back some memories. That is the first thing I changed out on my Superhawk. I had a hard stop from 90 in a curve and it was a handful. I got home and went straight to the archives. Luckily they were a lot cheaper back then and more numerous. Now they're getting harder to find and more expensive to aquire but still well worth it! You can still buy a new set for around $400.

Got em used for $100.

Installed w/ EBC Organic (bought on Jan. 1 @ Cycle Gear - 20% Off - if I remember correctly)

Total cost $155.

Man, that's great! They don't come around often especially at that price. Get on the pads hard and get them seated quickly.
