Ducati 996 swing arm?

I see that a few of you guys on here put VFR single-sided swingarms. I was wondering if a Ducati 996 swing arm would work or if anyone has even thought of it?

SlowHAWK is an unknown quantity at this point
I've looked at pics... doesn't look like it would fit as the shock mount is different. But again, thats just from checking pics and comparing to the VFR unit on EBAY and other sites.
