Clip-On's question

Starting the 1000rr fork swap and want to know if the stock 929 clip-on's will clear the fairing under the upper tripple?

no.
The fork swap thread covers this: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=23751

"The 929RR clip-ons can possibly be used if you are doing a streetfighter build as they are the highest of the OEM clip-ons, but they are too short if you keep the fairings.."

hell no. I think you need minimum 3" rise since you can no way mount them over the trips without putting the motor on the ground geometry wise.

Thanks guys. Thats all I needed was a quick response. Seems like this fork swappin business is a touchy subject for people and i just get told to search or get fucked. Some of this stuff is just not explained well and after 3 months of researching I still have questions. So where can I post questions about fork swapping. Should I make my own thread of questions?

Start up a thread with the questions you need answered and I'm sure you will get the info you are looking for.

If you are referring to my reply in the thread I started, I still stand by it...

You either didn't read the first post, or completely disregarded what I wrote there... Since I consider that somewhat rude, you got a reply on the same level... But with the added advice to make another thread for the Q&A which I also promised to answer to my best ability... I however did not tell you either of the two suggestions you just listed...

The 929's are roughly 2" of rise... So no they won't work... Just like others said...

My suggestion, take a look at the link 8541Hawk posted in the guide... Those adjustable clipons should be good choice, probably as good as the ConvertiBars I have but for a lot less money...
