About to dive in head first.
So I received my ccts from truck(thanks), I have my pair removal plates(thanks super-d), Goin to try and build a carb synch tool( Kinda broke-cant buy one) and found a haynes manual at the library. Gettin ready to tear into it and show her some tlc. This will be my first go at playing mechanic. Besides changing oil and coolant and stuff like that. Wish me luck fellas! Oh, and maybe a tps adjustment.

i'd ditch the haynes and use the honda service manual.

Theres tidbits of real data in haynes.
Nothing like a real service manual though.
The only real books come from the manufacturers
They are worth the $$ you have to spend fo sho.

Broke or not. for a few dollars you can buy a couple of wide mouth glass bottles, couple of rubber stoppers, some plastic tubing and build a carb sync gauge as accurate as anything you can find. If you're feeling flush you can load the bottles with a two buck quart of ATF instead of water.

I haven't tried this for myself, but it looks like it should work...
