I'll never forget the shot of your 'Hawk when it got caught out in the snow. If it were painted white you could lose it in your own driveway!

PSSSSSST!!!!!

If you are going to paint it white, do the wheels as well.

The devil is in the details.

I have only seen one white in person and it really did look good but all hawks do. It would look good with all white the plastics and the wheels.

White wheels are a must with a white bike, but then again, the frame needs to be black

I was thinkin just white the center of the wheels and do the lips to coincide with the othe color of your choice (in my case I think im gonna do white and red) hopefully without the candy cane look

Black wheels, white bodywork. I hate white wheels because of an F2 I had with the 6 u-shaped spoke white wheels. They were nearly impossible to keep clean. The Hawk's oval 3 spoke wheels are much easier to keep clean, but I still can't endorse white wheels.

I agree with Killer. White wheels are for a show bike. Chrome or annodized would be great but white ?? hard to keep them looking good!

thats a good point on the clean factor. but white-red bodywork with black wheels isnt a bad combo imo.

Thanks for the kudos guys. No white wheels for me. I actually RIDE my Superhawk, and although I'm pretty picky about cleanliness, I just had the wheels powdercoated matte black and like them just like that, thankyouverymuch.

The exhaust is in fact a Moriwaki P-Zero can. I had an extra header and chopped off the left side mid and had it patched. The right side mid is a modified RC51 left side mid. The hanger is a Two Brothers high mount that I had collecting dust as well. I had the can sitting in my garage for over 2 years - bought off ebay for $50.

Full details on the exhaust mod here: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ead.php?t=4259

S100 Cycle Cleaner will clean wheels without hurting them and all the rest of the bike as well. Even cuts through chain lube!
the usual disclaimers, test in inconspicuous area, etc.

AZ,
Go for good paint. The old VFRs had a pearl color to their paint, much nicer than my '93, or the 06. Cadillac makes the same color, I used it for my lil Hawk (an NT650).

My bike was pearl white when I bought it. Now it has a red rear cowling with everything else white. Looks bad, but hey, it runs good. It's olympic white with the pearl mixed into the clear. The guy had it painted at the local dodge dealer.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Even the black wheels look nice. I especially like the VTR markings.
If you ever want to go back to stock colors, and sell bodywork, let me know.

My wife's white VFR w/white wheels, just FYI

Ok, here's kind of what it looks like if you go all white. You'll just have to imagine this on a VTR....
