vfr 750 fuel tanks
Since most the posts refer to VFR 800 tanks, anyone try a '95 to '97 750 tank. Thinking is, it is carb related so maybe you don't have to mess with redoing the FI fuel valve/pump stuff. But then maybe you still have to??

Well... Considering the 750 have bodypanels covering the lower part of the tank and the shape is considerably more boxy, I doubt it will fit the frame as nicely as the 800...
My guess is, it would look butt ugly... But it might work...
For me though, I'd rather fix the hole for the pump on the underside than mess with the exterior though, less work, and less chance of messing it up...

i looked at the bottom of a 750vfr tank and it looks much harder to do than that of a 800.. i bought an 800 to do the mod. and have not figured how i am going to get it to fit. i am thinking, lowering the the airbox lid in the rear by 10mm. which i think will allow it to fit and not hinder the air supply in the box
