for those of you with a raised rear

i searched on here and only found one post on the topic so i figured id share it again in case anyone has the issue of the bike REALLY leaning after shimming or raising the rear 6mm and hasnt seen this thread

saw this on the UK board

so from a couple minutes of searching, ive gathered a VFR, 04-05 CBR, and the Blackbird side stands are a direct match for the hawk and give you somewhere around an inch longer stand. plus they all use the same sidestand switch so that swaps over nicley.

i was tired of having my bike actually lift up the back wheel if i dont set it down very gently. $20 on fleabay for the blackbird stand isnt to bad for a little piece of mind when parking on hills.

i guess all of them have a pretty short nub for your foot to grab onto so some people have welded on extension to make it easier. ill report on how it works when i get my hands on it.

I used a piece of sheet steel for a while, but that gets old fast. Got a CBR kickstand on the way now. Much less hassle this way.
