search the forum. I'm pretty sure you're ok with the protons, but you might need some resistors for the undertail! wish I could help you more, good luck!

Thanks for the input, haven't really found what i'm looking for. Another quick question though, to the people that have the mototeck undertail was it an exact match on the paint. i purchased the shining yellow off of ebay and the tail seems to be a bit darker. i'm thinking they sent me the wrong one. any one care to chime in?

standard DOT flasher relay. just plug it in and your done. they are solid state relays.

could be wrong or just what they have. mototeck went out of business last year. from what i understand, the one's on ebay are copies of the mototeck. email the seller and see what they say about the color.

If you do both, you will need resistors or a new flasher relay. I only used 2 resistors, and tucked them in near the brake light. If you need it I'll find the values on the resistors. I have a yellow one too, it's hard to see any difference in the color, it matches very well. Also, you might want to think about adding some better rear signals, the Mototek LEDs are pretty tough to see especially on a yellow bike.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have just ordered a new flasher relay so i should be seeing that in a few days. the undertail is way obviously darker so i'm guessing they sent me the wrong color, i'm in the works to see what they can do for me.

thanks again.

oh ya, any recommendations on LED's for the mototeck undertail i'm not real familiar with them.
