Relocating seat key switch.....who's done it?

Need advice 🙄😄

I got a under tail off eBay & I want to attach the key switch from stock plastic piece?
Has anyone done this?

Thanks

Both of My aftermarket undertails have a hole/location for the key lock..
What brand undertail do you have? Pictures?

I don't know what brand it is!
But there's no hole.

I should be able to fab something up... :0)

You have to drill the hole.. Mount it up, locate the OEM lock position and mark. Drill the hole
That undertail is used in conjunction with part of the OEM black plastic "undertail" which must be trimmed to fit the new aftermarket one.

Thank you Marquez!!!

I didn't realize that I would be utilizing the existing seat panel.
I can't wait to cut that license plate section!!! At least now I know the seat key will be operational.

Thanks again

Aloha

Just take it slow, measure, fit, measure.. THEN cut..lol
That is a different undertail then either of my Competition Werkes and Powerbronze so while it's an educated guess that it will fit as both mine do... reusing part of the stock fender/undertail...and the key lock can be reused.. it is still just an educated guess, not a known fact..
