Again, pyramid makes the hugger. Install was easy. Its been on for over 2 years and never had a problem with it.

Bolt it on and forget it.

Her's the best pic I have of it. Its kinda hard to see since its black.

Re: rear tire hugger?

Here is the Rumble Import style that has the chain guard incorporated into the design . Ebay every day for 124.99 . I'd be interested in knowing the price of the other two listed for comparison .

I want one to keep the junk off my rear shock

I intend to install the Lockhart-Phillips "Carbon Works" carbon fiber hugger, which also includes integrated chain guard. (I'll post a pic after I do so.)

This hugger is a bit pricey (~$270 US at discount, if I recall correctly), but it looks ever-so-cool and is ever-so-light.

cheers,

Re: rear tire hugger?

Lockhart-Phillips is apparently phasing-out Carbon Works products for the VTR. (I got one of the last backstock Carbon Works triple-tree covers for the VTR and am not sure if there are any Carbon Works huggers for the VTR in the L-P backstock.)

Even so, Targa makes a carbon fiber hugger for the VTR, and it is only about $100 more than the plastic hugger. ($299 MSRP)

Targa Accessories

cheers,

102dals is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: rear tire hugger?

I have one my wife bought me for Christmas, from superbikestore.com. It's color matched to the red pretty well, and replaces the chain guard. I haven't ridden with it much, but it looks nice. Will post a pic when I figure out how.
