Purchasing Comp Werkes fender eliminator feedback, please?

I plan on buying the comp workes vtr1000 fender eliminator and clear alternatives turn-signal/brake light combo as I think this will look best with the leo vince high mount setup.

Does it come with install instructions and how is the fit and finish?

I was wondering if anyone had any alternative recommendations. I don't like most undertails as paint does not match, they don't fit well and you have to drill holes for the license plate bracket, but comp werkes is the only vendor I have found with a fender eliminator

Thanks!

KC

I have some pics of how it's installed on my website. The installation directions suck. Careful when you cut.

Hey Blacksheep...

I just removed a competition works eliminator kit from my bike... It has a few extra holes drilled in it for the tailights I wired, needs new bolts/hardware, otherwise it's in OK shape.... if your interested in it, LMK... PM me.

BTW.. I don't have instructions or anything, just the parts that came off my bike.

Hey bro, got that one on my bike and I will tel you this. Its great, it keeps your "trunk" near the right size BUT its HEAVY... and after a few years on my bike it started to rip the whole underside apart. I have mine suspended with a metal strap to keep the weight off the plastic, and to keep it from bouncing all the freakin time.

Just food for though...

I've had no problems with mine and have had it on for about 35000 miles and 8 years.
