You may be able to save a little money by going with www.empiregp.com. They did my fairings and I'm very happy with them.

Hawkrider,
From the Empire website, was yours the VTR with repaired "ears"? They did a great job.
I'm curious about what they charged for this...I'd like my VTR to match my 'lil Hawk (650) and it's VFR white.
Vegas places want over $1000 to repaint the bodywork, and it needs no plastic work.

it looks like it was dropped at a low speed.
not sure, got it like sits
i can live with the chunk missing but, the road rash i would like to get smoothed out and painted red, if you look up near the headlight, a friend had some red brake caliper paint, i spray the paint onto a piece of cardboard them wipped it on there to see if it matched up, and it did seem to match, but the was only one coat to just look at it.

well to get to the point of this whole mustang thing, is i may pull all the body work off the Super Hawk and do all the bodywork myself and then paint it myself, just not sure on what color, i like black and blue bikes, now, i will have to look into some designs, may go black and go with some graphics from Tape Works, or try to make my own graphics at work.

I used the twin syringe plastic welding stuff from walmart or napa, you squeeze it out and stir the two sides together, then apply. I ground a groove along all my cracks (both sides) and filled that stuff in, then sanded it smooth on the outside after it dried for a few days. I also sanded down to good plastic on the same areas you have scuffed up, then sent it to a painter. Fixed the left fairing for $55 total.
