My VTR before and After

Well i went for my fist ride of the season yesterday after bolting the bike together finally! Got about 2mi and all the lights and gauges went dead. Guess if you are going to install quick disconnects on your front signals you should probably wrap them in electrical tape or you will blow every fuse in the box! Anyways here is the new and improved Honda, looking for input. I wanted something simple and understated yet still good looking and i figured there are not too many white hawks on the road (4 if i remember correctly)

I thought of that but to tell you the truth it is no worse than the red that was on there.

Looks good. The other day I suddenly felt the urge to paint mine white too. The tank, seat cowl, front fender?, and small section above the headlight will remain red. I sprayed everything black last year except those pieces after a crash so we'll make that 5 white Superhawks soon! Definitely helps to renew the looks. White must be the new black.

What type of paint did you use? I'm painting my hawk soon, and am trying to decide between flat white and gloss white...

i really like it but it is too sterile. change to rim color or add a couple stickers to it. get some grips with something besides just black. when i first saw it before i really really liked it but the more i look at it i feel like i am in the operating room. of course if you were looking for ubber clean and that cold as ice look then it is superb.

ohh i have a though. add a cruella deville sticker to it. hahah then that is like the perfect bike, cold, heartless, and ruthless.

I like the base color, but that "sterile" word up there is a great descriptive word

Some decals, or maybe some sort of graphics kit..and High Mount those pipes!!!

Remember, there's always room for a NOS bottle

No need for NOS! I have changed to pro bolt Gold ferring bolts, and chrome pegs. I have gold levers on order and i am going with either a gold or white powder coat for the 6 spoke rims i have sitting around. opinions welcome on rim color. if any one is good with the photoshop and wants to show me what the respective rim colors would look like it would make the decision easier. I hate the stock stickers (which is why they are no longer there) and i do not know if i am going to add any custom graphics (thinking VTR1000 on the tail in gold). If anyone wants to trade some high mounts (in any condition) for Low mount microns let me know. otherwise that is pretty far off in this bikes future.
