Which Lower Fairing?

I am looking to add a lower fairning to my 2000 Hawk. After reviewing several threads/pics I have determined that there is either Sharkskinz, Powerbronze or Pyramid. I read that the Sharkskinz tends to rub on the upper fairing while cornering and will take off paint. Is this commen on all lowers for our bike? Is one manufacturer prefered over the other (compatibility) or is it just personal preference (cosmetic)?

All Superhawk categories

http://www.powerbronze.co.uk/Display...ENG&SSN_CUR=UK

Select 'Lower Fairings' then 'VTR 1000 Firestorm' for the Powerbronze lower.

Pics and a source would be nice.

Just curious, since the weave of CF varies from manufacturer did you buy all your CF stuff together or does it flow to the eye even though it soesn't match exactly? Of course, your pics would answer that...

Thanks.

I've got the Lockhart Phillips lower on my bike.

I don't know if they still make it or not. Can't recall.

I got all my carbon fiber from coerce racing, with the exception of my 2 Bros. pipes. I feel that the fit and finish is second to none. Will post pics for you soon. I ordered the front fender and rear hugger off ebay. The guy used to sell the lower as well. But then claimed it wasn't made anymore. Coerce Racing is a Japanese company and I have 2 customers who happen to be Japanese. The last time they went back home they picked it up for me and brought it back. Thank god for customers like that!!!
