Hawk GT swingarm even doable?

I know this has been mentioned but is the SSS conversion even doable? Anyone know why or why not?

I'm pretty sure the hawk arm is too wimpy... All SSS I have seen is the VFR's...

The Honda SSA's look the same, but are suprisingly different.

The Hawk swingarm does not use a linkage for the shock, it bolts straight to the swingarm. The mounts are totally different than the vfr's. Even the same year vfr400 and Hawk have completely different mounting for the swingers, probably due to the linkage/no linkage.

If it were made to work the spring for the shock would need to be so heavy they probably don't make one. Hawk's run springs in the 1k plus range.

OK, that makes sense. Worth a shot as they are way cheaper. Thanks
