Wink Have you had your hawk painted?

My 1999 superhawk is black and i am considering have it painted white, with two blue racings stripes running down middle of bike. Think 1966 Shelby Mustang. Maybe it would work, maybe not, anyone have an opinion? Any idea what a job like that would cost. Thanks. Bought my bike 3 weeks ago and anxious for a good ride. Last time i owned a bike was a kawasaki kz750 twin, way back in 1979. Yea i am an old SOB.

I haven't had mine painted as of yet. I'm not terribly fond of the titanium color, but for the price and condition of the bike I couldn't say no. As soon as I recieve my lower fairing from Sharskinz the bike's getting painted black asap.

My buddy painted his pearl white and used the red wings off a 2006 VFR800... looks pretty damn good if you ask me!

I would like to support the white-bike color scheme. I love it.

BY the way, I spotted a BMW K100 a while back online for sale with that exact paint scheme and loved it, unfortunately I don't think I saved pictures of it.

Just a thought from what I would do IF I were to repaint my bike; I alays thought a blue powder coated frame on a while superhawk would look amazing. Also gold on white looks good (if used sparingly) but is really not my thing... maybe it's yours.

Hey, thanks for the pic of your friends white hawk inderocker. Like the idea of blue powdercoat on the frame thebolton1, maybe to match the stripes. Think i will ride to an paint shop and throw the idea at them.

I had my Hawk painted Honda Tangerine Metallic, code YR563. As soon as it warms up and melts off around here, I'll get some pics up. Garage lights don't do it justice.

I had mine painted white with a blue pearl topcoat them put the reflective live flames from tapeworks on it. total cost of paint was $800.00. I'll see if i can find a pic of it finished.

i've converted to naked, and i'm painting it arctic white, CF fenders but need to know what everyone would do for a color of the tank decals (red? black? carbon fiber?) and color of the lower chin fairing.
