First things first, it's all about the front/headlight. I'm still not 100% convinced of this one (not this one specifically, but it looks similar to the one I purchased:

After that:

Front-mount radiator.
Larger fuel tank.
Handlebar instead of clip-ons.

And waaaay after that...
SSS.
Single or single-side exhaust/s.

But, first I've got to get rid of my track bike and finish the project car.

Let's see if I can remember everything, I'll start from front to rear. Front wheel and rotors are RC51, axle is ZX12R, wheel bearings are 954. Brake calipers and forks are GSXR1000, triples are 929 upper and 954 lower. 929 Heli bars mounted under the upper triple with Galfer ss brakelines all around. I think that takes care of the front end, oops forgot the carbon fiber GSXR fender.

K&N air filter and factory jet kit for intake and a combination of cbr1000rr and R1 frame sliders. Harris rear sets with slash cut pegs and carbon fiber heel protectors. Flush mount flexible 12 led front signals and running lights in the fairing air scoops. Corbin seat for the tush.

Jardine high mount mid pipes connected to 2bros carbon fiber cans. 900rr rear wheel with -1 front sprocket and +2 rear vortex for track days and and 41 tooth for street, 520 chain. Rumble imports tail with carbon look led lights and hugger,(yet to install hugger though). I also have a 900rr swing arm that I'm either going to put on or cut the brace off and weld to the stock swingarm. Oh and an airblade double bubble iridium screen. And that's all I can say about that because life is like a box of chocolates.

Will do. Just gotta find a way to get it around that front cylinder...

I think I've seen a front-mounted radiator on a superhawk somewhere. I'll have to see if I can dig up that picture...

Is DaZ still on the board? His Superhawk was awesome.

Oh and hows your shock? I've been searching high and low for a shock, but I'm not paying $500 or more for one. I'm sure you know new ones go for $750 to $1200, Just don't have the scratch for that.

Mikstr, one of our forum Canuks, got it. Norrth had first dibs on it through the forum but Ebay wouldn't let me cancel the auction so Micky won it.

You can find used penske/ohlins on ebay under $500 but they aren't that common. Ohlins has a new VTEC VFR shock that is very close to VTR specs for around $550 NEW ($650MSRP)!!! What's the catch? No compression or external reservoir. It's still a quality unit. I had one on my O2 vfr.

I will eventually get my penske upgraded to the high/low compression model level and revalved for the 'hawk. Hopefully next year sometime.

Just go to the performance mods section and look for any thread I've started. That should be a good start. :-)

Yeah my watch list has about 10 shocks on it right now and North is suposed to give me an email address for an ohlins for $450. Funds are tight though so something cheaper might have to be modded on there instead for now.

It looks like the older 748 duc shocks are real close fit, size and weight to the superhawk.

The spring is WAY too weak but it's easy to replace (no compressor needed) and it juuuussst fit with a longer top mount. I didn't like having the reservoir so close to the exhaust but that's only way it fit. Honda has heat deflectors on some of the VFR series bikes and I thought about getting one of those. The spring pictured is from a fox TC that came with the SuperHawk.

I gave up trying to get a used Duc Ohlins; bidding was always too high. Those Duc boys have got too much money!
