GPR high mount exhaust?
My Jardine RT-one's have decided they were going to take a crap and low out one of the end caps, and of course Jardine doesn't make replacement parts for these old of pipes.
So, since I cant repair these I've been looking at other high rise pipes.
I found that GPR makes a set of really good looking high rise pipes Honda VTR1000F Firestorm High Mount GPR Exhaust Systems Furore Slipon Mufflers | eBay
I'am planning on ordering them straight from GPR (it's a little cheaper)
MY question here is has anyone had any experience with their exhaust? Is it quality made? Do they sound good? exc.
Thanks guys.

I wonder if they would work with a 900rr swing arm brace. Clarence might be close. But I've wanted full high mount exhaust since I got the bike. My current set up is between how mount and high mount. The bottoms are in the low mount position but the ends of the mufflers come way up and tuck under the rear cowl. I also like the look of mine tho. Seems to be what the racing VTRs had

GPR make quality gear.
Had a set of their pipes on an Aprillia I owned.
A mate recently bought a pipe for his Benelli TNT from GPR and was amazed at how quick he got it direct from Italy to Australia.
Quality and sound are good!

Thanks kenmoore, that's mostly what I was wanting to know.
Msethhunter they have a lot of different styles, standard round, oval, tri-oval, and these. Personally I like the end caps and I think it will look good with what I'm going to do to the bike.

Honestly I am not sure what caused it to happen, all I know is that the end cap rusted from the inside, blew a hole in the end cap, which caused the baffle (welded to the rear cap) to brake loose as well.
The only guess I had was that collection of moisture building up in the pipe and falling to the bottom of the can (end cap) and it caused it to rust and come appart.

As you can see I got some presents in the mail today.
My 954 forks
My thumbscrews
And what this is all about, my GPR Furore high mounts.
I took some crappy photos with my phone that I posted, I will get more pictures up soon so every one can see them better.
First glance, quality was superb, stainless pipes look great, clamps and all hardware are stainless.
Fitment was a breeze, aside from getting the cans to line up at the rear (took a little back and forth tweaking)
Sound..... All I can say is MMMMMHHHMMMMMMMMM.
I ran the bike first with db killers out, and all I can say is when they are out she has one hell of a bark! But on that note, it's too much IMHO. they get very raspy when you really get on them with no db killer installed, and idle in the garage makes the whole house shake.
I went back threw the db killers back in and she's just quieter than the Jardine RT-one's I removed at idle, perfect.
Hoped on her and slowly rolled up and down the street to make sure fitment was good, part throttle she kept the domesticated quiet sound, once you twist that little past part throttle you get a sound that is deep and throaty with a hint of rasp. Perfection in my eyes. Couldn't be happier with the buy.

Actually, with the bend of the mid pipes my heels do not rest on them at all. This was a problem I had with the Jardines and I figured with my size 14 shoe I would still have this issue but I think they did a great job designing these pipes.
Overall for the GPR's they are definitely a great product. Sound quality is clean and crisp, good looking pipes made with quality parts. Definitely worth every penny spent.
Will also try to get some better pictures this week.
