chin fairing bolts....

i bought my bike a bit over a year ago now and the seller gave me the chin fairing that needs paint but he lost the bolts that attach it to the bike, i dont even know what they look like and/or if i can just use a different type of bolt to put it on, i like the look of it and i want to put it on this winter, can anyone give me some insight on this? and maybe picture of the blots/screws whatever is used?

thanks in advance

since they both show as 6x22, go hit up the local hardware store and get them along with a couple washers. Mine has stainless ones and they are still cheap for something that small.

Well the one thing missing is the thread pitch.

You know it 6mm and 22mm long. You might want to take the mounting bracket with you to make sure the stuff you get threads in.

If I remember correctly (I took mine off years ago) it's a 10mm head flanged bolt and also put a flat washer behind it (look at the diagram to see where the flat washer goes).

the one facing out is the same as all the other fairing bolts. the one on the inside is not able to be seen so use some hardware stock on that one.
