Buell Drop Pegs On Hawk

Here's the pics of the drop pegs on my hawk i have to say i like em alot over the stock pegs.

They look nice but you'll probably start leaking oil now you've put a Harley part on your bike.

According to the harley sheep, buell parts aren't worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence with hardleys!

I have a set on my RCBVFR and love 'em too. You can just make 'em out in this photo (best I can find at the moment) and give you about an inch drop:

Too late im leakin oil around my speed-o sensor...Time for a new oring....sounds like hardley pushrods .......orings always shittin the bed

I just installed a pair on my bike & really like them but I wasn't aware that you have to grind them to fit. I had to take off a decent amount of metal from the pegs to get them to fit in the superhawk mounts. Regardless it is done, the shifter is adjusted & all that is left is to remove the lock nut for the rear brake so I can get the pedal down far enough. Well worth the time & money.

I had to pull the hero feelers offa my stock pegs, and am pretty close to grinding holes in the side of my boots, do the buell pegs lose any heeled over clearance?
