Bleaching

Has anyone used peroxide to restore slightly yellowed brake and clutch reservoirs? If so, how did it turn out?

My hair looks like it's been bleached with peroxide, but...it hasn't. Seriously though, I have never heard of that. Back in the old days we used to wrap them with something cool...like a Nike Headband...for real.

I've seen some videos on this subject (brake or coolant or other plastic reservoirs) on YouTube, but don't recall the method. You may want to do a search there if you haven't.

Might want to test it first on a scrap one as it originated as a method used on plastics used for puters.

Thanks Wicky. I can make use of that info.
I'll post up the results.
