My 2 cents from previous experience... They're both nice quality. The Sargent is made on a plastic seat pan like the factory seat, so it's light like the factory seat. Any of the Sargents I've had also fit well both to the bike and with the solo cowl like the factory seat. The Corbin has a fiberglass seat pan and it's like a boat anchor in comparison. Any of the Corbins I've had also never quite fit perfect, both on the bike and with the solo cowl. Your results may vary but any I've had over the years require a little "fidgeting" to get the seat to not sit too high in the rear and the solo cowl to mount flush. New, the Corbin seat is beautiful and IMO a little fancier looking that the Sargent. The Sargent does also look very nice. The Corbin is leather vs the vinyl Sargent so regarding durability you can form your own opinion of which might wear longer or last longer. Others can chime in on long distance comfort. I think the Corbin looks a little nicer but regarding everything else I have a Sargent on my bike.
I've sat on a Sargent and I've owned a Corbin for eons. The Corbin is a bit firmer for sure. For me, it offers long distance comfort. The Sargent was soft and more comfortable right away. I initially got the Corbin because of the removable backrest option because I sometimes took the wife out 2-up. That duty is now relegated to the Ducati, so I'd rather have a Sarg.
My Corbin never had any issues with fit. It goes on and comes off super easy, and looks great IMO.
