Adding Spools

I want to purchase some stands for my 2003 Shawk and found a great set fairly cheap at CDN Tire. They are selling both the front and the rear stand with various sized spools all for $129.00.

My problem is that the rear swing arm does not have the bolts nor the holes to add spools. What would be the implications of either welding a receiver on or drilling a hole into the swingarm so I can install spools????
