05-06 zx6r plastics on my 98 Superhawk

Hi all! Been a member of this forum since I got the bike a couple of summers ago but haven't haunted it much so please excuse any noob questions. Anywho, I miss my full fairing setup and have never been a big fan of ANY of the OEM or aftermarket bodywork on the Superhawks/Firestorms I've seen other than the Mario Nava stuff thats out there and lets be honest, if I'm gonna shell out the money for any of the Mario Nava plastics, I'm just gonna buy a medium caliber handgun with it so that I can shoot myself and end the suffering if the bike were ever dropped. SOOO.....I was able to acquire a complete set (minus a few of the smaller black trim pieces and louvres etc.) of plastics off of an 06 Kawasaki Lime Green ZX6R (which, if they're used will OBVIOUSLY be repainted) for free. I'm an automotive technician by trade and love projects that involve putting **** with other **** that really doesn't belong there and making it work/look good. And yes, I'm still entertaining the thought of ebaying the Kawi plastics for revenue advances in other areas of the bike. Currently, I've got a zx6r headlight and am at the point of teardown where I now know I'm gonna need the zx6r front fairing stay for sure in addition to the obvious fabrication of risers and (OH, THE HORROR!) possibly having to drill holes in the new plastics. Any comments, queries, quips, queefs or suggestions are more than welcome!

lol. No. My experience with firearms is miniscule at best. Plus, I've never been in a situation that necessitated it. Unless I buy those damn fairings....

Have seen cbr1000rr/600rr fairings on a hawk, also the rc51 front is popular
I myself looking at the cbr1000rr option in the future, have most parts.
No expert but the side rads might be the only proplem, ie enough room
But if most of the parts are free go for it
Certainly different
