1998 Superhawk plastics???

Hey I just picked up a 98 hawk, and I need a full set of plastics, and am having a rough time finding anything useful. I checked out Sharkskinz, and would rather not pay ther price, so I was wondering what my alternatives might be. I need a full set of fairings as well as a tail piece. I can't seem to find any used plastics and I was thinking about looking for a set of 929 plastics, as they would be easier to find used. I don't care about color or anything, I just want a set of plastics that will fit my hawk. If anyone has any ideas about any alternatives/options, I'd appreciate it.

Anything else is going to require custom work.

I was able to find both front fairings, Passenger seat cowl, and front fender either used but damn near perfect or new for 50 cents on the dollar give-or-take on ebay. Honda shops had some and when I asked them if they had other parts available they sometimes had'em and were willing to discount heavily. The hard part was deciding what color to go with. I would find a yellow left fairing one day and a red the next. I ended with all yellow and had the tank painted since it had a ding anyway it was all good. Still looking for front center piece for under the Head light.
Good luck.

I checked e-bay and for the moment, they have nothing, and so far as dealerships are concerned... I live in Maine so I am unlikely to find anything near me. Thanks for the replies, I will keep an eye on ebay, and in the meantime, if anybody comes across any fairings, upper or lower, or a tail piece for cheap, pm or email me. Again, thanks guys.

I think I found a set of RC-51 Fairings modded for the Superhawk that I want... Only problem is I'm not enitirely sure what to do about the headlight. I'm interested in what JDHawk did with the single projector beam setup on his hawk, and also any other ideas anyone might have. Lemme know what has worked for you guys. Thanks
