SuperBuffalo Rides Again

Hi,
Thanks to SHF for the great info on front end swaps. My 929 conversion was done months ago, but I've been finishing up tons of details. Here's some pics... she's not done yet.

The List:
- '01 929 front end
- Custom top clamp with ProTaper bar
- Shortened subframe
- Custom pipes, KTM based cans
- Custom tail with R1 lamps
- Aztec 8 dual 5.75 headlamps, custom mount
- Ginormous 6 gallon KW carbon tank (Thanks BR!)
Still need to come up with fenders and radiator shrouds. And sidecovers. And mini fairing. And detail the wiring... etc etc...

I'd planned on making an aluminum tank, but when I saw the KW tank on ebay, I figured it would cost me far more in hours to make one, and I wanted to ride now. I might still make a small alloy tank and just use the elephant tank for touring.

Yesterday I took her out for her first good thrash since I totalled her in Dec. 2004. I've been riding a KTM 640 and old yamaha 500 in the interim. Forgot what it meant to have power! Jeebus. Love it.

Cheers!
Greg

That thing looks wild. The tank looks extra huge without any of the bodywork around & the small tail. I like those pipes too. Enjoy!
