Yes they are Dans,
A good value for money proposition. Just needed some fettling.
I replaced the bolts for the pegs with some longest stronger ones and drilled the master cylinder bracket then ran a longer bolt through it into the threaded backing plate.
The mounting bracket fastening arrangement is flimsy at best and when you used the back brake the mounting pivoted and caused the back brake to drag.
Other than that they have been on for a long time and have worn well.
For the $$$$ they are hard to beat.

Notice the third bolt below the master cylinder.
This stops the bracket from moving.

Took me ages to overcome this problem.

I really like that oil temperature gauge. I see those for Harley Davidson's all the time. How did you get one to fit? Or is there one on the market for a VTR?
EDIT: Jerry beat me to it.

German EBay site.
$65- Oz shipped.
I wanted something different to the standard bling bling anodised filler cap that you see on so many bikes, and this one is functional as well.
Now I am working on beating Jerrys gold caps.
Gotta love a challenge!

Great price if this one works!
EDIT: You're right. This isn't a great price at all. I just quickly saw the ~20 Euro's and thought that was the price. Oops.

I know you have a vast knowledge of information, Wolverine. Maybe you are right.
*This is bullshit. Wolverine's not playing fair.*

Here's a pic of the bike in its favourite surroundings.
Up a well known mountain road.
Temp got up to 103 today, so I pulled over to let the traffic go so that I could enjoy the ride.
Bloody hot!
Oil temp was up 20 degrees C as well.

All in all a great day out, 174 Klms on the clock and still got 1 bar left.
It's a long weekend here and if you get caught speeding the fine is doubled and the amount of points you loose on your license it doubled as well. They call it double demerits weekend.
I call it double jab weekend.
I have lost my license on points 4 times over the years so I was taking it easy.
