Talking Nekkid Hawk

Since the fairing and left side radiator has been off for what seems forever, I decided to roll the chicken out of the garage and wash the dust off her. She doesn't look bad with her clothes off.

kai ju is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd like to think that he is a bit more tolerant than that.
Especially since he, or she, has let me ride mine naked for years without striking me down with lightning.

Kai Ju

BTW, great shot of you bike, the way it's backlit.

I like the naked look. Previous owner dropped mine so I bought it without fairings, but tell you the truth the stock 3/4 fairings are kinda ugly. Fully faired looks good but nekid is nice.....

I usually don't like the way naked hawks look because I think they look too unfinished. No offense to anyone (i don't even like the way my bike looks without the lower fairing). I do however like Kai Ju's as it is very nicely done. He took the time to mod the radiators etc. and to make the visual lines flow well.

Hak,
Every time you post a picture of your bike it looks immaculate. Too clean, get out and ride the damn thing.

haha thanks man. However my left side magnesium bits got a little messed up from the coolant getting on them while trying to limp home on a bleeding hawk . Gotta see if I can buff out the damage with some compound.

Trust me, I'd love nothing more than to be riding it. However she's been down with a cracked radiator for almost a month now. Finally found a used one in a good price range and it should be here tomorrow. having to fill up the SUV for a month and not riding the bike has killed my wallet with todays gas prices and shortages here in the South.
