My Vtr

Hi folks, another newbie here.
I was pointed to this site by Alan, another firestorm uk member who's on this forum.
Here's a pic of my bike, and look forward to reading through the posts here..
It's in bits at the moment, halfway though VFR swingarm conversion

Nice, fast color like mine. Whose rear sets are those & do they raise & lower peg height from OEM?

One thing I question, you bobbed the rear fender (so you get roostered tailed big time in the often incessant rain you have) but you added (what make?) a front fender extension? Uh, please explain the logic without mentioning aesthetics.

Again, "do they raise & lower peg height from OEM?"

Chin is a skidmarx unit. No idea what make fenda extenda is, as it was on when I bought bike 2 years ago. As for personal twists, probably doing something with the paint. Right from the start I said I wouldnt do a "clone" of Alan's bike, although at the moment they do look similar

Can you take a picture of your signal switches? I think the UK ones have more features.

Well, i've been off forum for a short while, but got exhaust built up and bike put back together. I'll have a look at switches for you Anto, and I'm sure they are different for uk spec.
Anyway, took bike out last weekend and did 200 miles on it. Real happy now I've got it back on the road.

It means No Worky!...

Oh if the UK switches are the same as here in Sweden, the only difference is that we have a slide switch where you have a toggle for high/lowbeam which sets (off/warning lights only/lights on) and another pushbutton for high/lowbeam... Which is useless as it's constantly hangs in highbeam...

This has two reasons, not turning on any lights is good for cold starts, all power goes to the starter, and for some reason here in Sweden the law states you have to be able to turn off your lights when running or go to warning lights only... But it's illegal to use it?!
