Maybe I'm partial but I like the 'Hawk better. Probably should sell the Kan-a-tuna. You'll probably never ever ride it again.

Yeah, like we ride these bikes for their gas mileage. You buy a Geo Metro for gas mileage. You don't buy a sportbike for gas mileage. Quit kidding yourself!

Keep thinkin'.

Seriously, I hope you know that's not really my post count. It's up over 1000 but I changed it a while back...because I could ...and I don't really know what it is now.

I'm proud to tell people that my 'Hawk gets worse mileage than my car ! It proves I'm serious about my bike.

Ha! How about spending lots of time perfecting your gear selection technique!

My previous SO was a red Kat. Yours looks to be in good shape.

Seriously tho', I learned a ton on that bike. Like how to maintain corner speed, downshifting & blipping effectively, getting in the right gear to drive off a corner. It's also very satisfying to ride a so-called "sub-standard" bike and still keep up w/ the big boys.

Yeah, and the same can be said for the VTR being "substandard" as well. Though I'll never keep up with my R1 and GSXR1000 riding buddies in a straight line it's very satisfying to pass them in the twisties!
