modding madness!
and i remembered how stiff the carbon chassis were.
that was my inspiration for this.
i used carbide burs to cut lightening holes and drum sanders to shape.
it is a very rigid assembly.
I just bought one. I haven't recieved it yet. I like the idea of a reliable <2 lb battery.
They are very compact. I'll figure out how to package my electronics, once I have it.

Hawxter.... which linkage are you using for that arm? I have a SP1 arm that I'm planning to bolt up and obviously need to figure out the linkage... I figure I can use the RV stuff, and swap out my lower shock mount to fit that linkage (I have a penske shock) or make my own link, and stick with the Hawk stuff...
curious to know what you wound up with...

Yes Sp1 has a larger pivot bolt... I'm either going to swap bearings, recut the sleeves for the bearings, or press tubing into the sleeves/spacers to make up the difference... I wanted the SP1 due to cost and a .4" shorter length than the SP2. Right now I'm a caliper, and the "custom" parts short of bolting it up. It looks like it will also need a shim on the front sprocket to line the wheels up properly.

not much progress but i do have lights and horn now.
just need to do coils and gauges to complete electrics.
i have already checked the starter circuit,it was nice to hear that engine crank.

I don't know if I missed it or not but where did you get the carbon fibre for the carbs?
