Oh man, reminds me of July 8th, 1997 when I picked up my first 98 SuperHawk. What a great day that was. Thanks for reminding me!

Nice color choice (heh, heh). Umm, looks completely stock? That just won't do! 8)

Re: First Post / My Ride

My first mods are in progress:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I was able to get the reservoir and master cylinder parts thrown in on the deal as well.

I can't wait to get going on the exhaust, undertail and race tech fork springs when the budget allows. My last bike was over 2 years ago rebuilding an F3 so Ihave really enjoyed getting back on two wheels again.

I really have been enjoying reading this forum the last few days. The layout is awsome. So is the information on the VTR's.

Yea, the trans-hawk does look nice. I also noticed that it makes the bike appear shorter somehow. . .

Re: First Post / My Ride

I would actually like it better with polished rims and a black or natural aluminum side engine cover. In other words, everything black or silver.

Almost every car, truck or bike I have owned has been black, silver or charcoal.

I think the '05 is a very nice color scheme as well!

Congratulations on the new bike! Sounds like you got an '05?

That will be the last year since they are not doing an '06.

Welcome aboard, now get modding and spend all your spare cash on it! Oh wait that was me and oh boy is the wife pissed!! Nice colors to look at but black bikes scare me. That's just because of all the dicks down here that don't "see" you.
