Ahhh, guns. What a great subject. Speaking of which, I was in my local gun shop on Sunday just browsing. It happened to be Smith & Wesson days, so there was a rep handy. He wasn't shy about letting you see what ever you wanted. At one time I think he had about 8 guns on the counter for me and the wife to pick up and fondle. Usually when you go in, you have to ask to see a gun and they won't let you see another one until the original is back in the case. I got to actually touch, see, and feel a 500 in 3 different configurations. 1 even had a scope on it. That gun is massive. A box of 20 bullets was $40. That could get to be a very expensive gun to shoot at $2 a shot. The gun itself was $730. At that price, I didn't come hope with it, but would like to own one some day just because.
