A few pics of my twins.

I just thought I'd throw up some new pics of my beasts in their current form.

Enjoy!

Yeah, the RC is my fav but I still love the hawk. I've had a few chances to sell it but I cannot get rid of her.

Thanks for the kind words.

I understand. I have a really nice CBR1000RR, but the Superhawk is the bike I ride everyday.

As a matter of fact, I sold a really nice CBR1100XX, and an equally nice (I'm seeing a pattern here) CBR954RR without looking back, but I've had a few chances to sell my Superhawk and just couldn't do it.

I was offered $3500 for it from an older gentleman. I thought about it because that is a good offer on a 98'. It would have paid for the supercharger to go on my SRT8 too but I turned him down. I'm attached to the ole' girl.

You should sell me the Ohlins forks on the RC!

Nice bikes.

Nice bike, I have always wanted an RC51 myself. Cannot find one around where I live for a reasonable price. Got the hawk and love it! Nice bikes.

When you say the RC is your favorite, is it for all types of riding? If you could only have one, which would you keep and why? Your opinion may be the best information as it is rare for someone to own both at the same time. I've been on the fence about picking one up for a while. Cheers

I got lucky last august and found this one with most the goodies already on it with low miles for a stellar price but I had to drive to Chicago from Orlando to buy it!!

The RC is my fav because of the way it rides. Obviously mine is way lighter than a stock RC w/the marchesini wheels, carbon snorkel/airbox, mod harness, battery relocated, all extra fat removed. The lower weight with the extra power makes it a blast. I had to learn to ride just a tad different than when on the hawk though. The hawk is a torque machine that you can lug and pull the throttle and it will go. The RC is similar but the revs need to be about 1k to 1500 rpm higher when cruising and keep it a gear lower. It is almost as comfortable as the hawk but the darn seat is a wooden plank.

Stock for stock I would go with the hawk but with all the goodies on my RC I think I'd keep the RC. I'm just glad I'm fortunate to own both!

That would be quiet a drive. I found one only 2 hours from me before I bought my hawk, matter of fact I was going to look at both in the same day. The guy wanted over 8,000 for his RC51 because it was a "rare" bike. Bah.

I got my RC for $7k with 9k miles and most of the mods already on it!!!

(ohlins frt&rear, jardine ss 2into1, marchesini forged alum wheels, power commander, carbon snorkel, dk bars, dk link, ss lines, crg levers, race plastics, brembo rotors, hrc pads, battery mod, etc.

I've only installed gilles rearsets, carbon airbox, and different tires!

I have had the hawk since 2002 and it was paid off, I wanted the RC for a few years and finally got one.
