Does this count? *long read*

Well, I've been off the forum a bit. As well, all of you knew the satory of the crazy ex who took "her bike back".

Well, basically, this is a cut/paste from another forum I posted on. I figured I'de show it to you guys since you appreciate a naked bike....

-------------------
**apologizing ahead of time for the crappy quick pics and if it makes no sense...very sleepy and told myself I'de get up pics tonight...crappy or not, lol**

After much deliberation of choosing between a Brutale, an F4, F41000, and a 910/910R...I went with the Brutale S.

For those thinking "why???". I went to get insurance on the F4 and F41000, and it was rediculous for a 24 year old male. So I was stuck between a 910/910R and a 750. I was reading up on both what you people wrote with first hand experiance, and magazine articles.

The bike is going to be used for commuting/street use, on Sunny Days here in Florida. I last bike was a decently modded Superhawk (V-Twin), so I was definitly wanting torque, but was a little leary of it being TOO torquey. I.E. Tuono, the front comes up no problem from both being top heavy and it just being rediculous. I decided to change it up and go with a revvy 750. I gathered it was a better bike for street riding as you get the uber smoothness throttle response(oh god how spot on they were), and rev happy motor, that makes hooligan-ing it around that much more fun.. That, and insurance was a bit cheaper than the 910R.

So without further adue, here she is:

Couple things done:
Cat was removed and replaced with an Arrow connector pipe
Carbon Swingarm and chaingaurd protector
Carbon Heelplates
Carbon Exhaust shields

I dunno how it sounded/performed before, but god damn does it scream. I guess they didn't locktite the exhaust shields, cause when I got to the gas station to fill up after cruising around for like 30 minutes(after the 6 hours towing drive home), I noticed the lower was missing, and the upper one was hanging by one bolt. So I have the top one, I just need a bottom, and the bolts.

Normally I would be pissed, but the MASSIVE grin on my face from riding completely through out any potential anger I encountered

This bike, is BY FAR the best bike I've ever ridden. And that includes various Ducati's and numerous cookie cutter 600 and literbikes.

The fuel injection and powerband is remarkably smooth. The chassis, I've had Pilot Sports before, but damn, combined with this chassis, it just STICKS, and saying it's confidance inspiring is an understatement.

The bike, is extremely flickable and it caught me a little off gaurd when I was leaning it over for the 1st time.

The one thing I noticed, is this bike makes you FEEL like you're hauling ***. I dunno if it's from the lack of wind protection or the fact that the exhaust is SCREAMING. But I look down, and I'm not really moving at all. But low and behold, if I do decide to open her up, it doesn't hesitate, and feels just as stable at 80 as it does at 35. And I was actually expecting worse with the wind beating on me from the lack of fairings, but going 90...it's actually not that bad!!!!

And that exhaust note. It's stock pipes, but I'm guessing it's the Arrow midpipe that when it eliminated the cat, really excentuates the stock exhaust note....I just can't imagine a complete system. I'm almost scared to buy one because I love the sound so much!

Although this motor is SEVERLY lacking the TQ of my previous bike, I'm betting I wouldn't be singing the same tune had I got 910, but it's no biggie. What do you expect coming from a 1 liter Twin to an I4 750??? All the other attributes supercede it ten-fold. And I'm actually liking the switching it up to a rev happy 750. The suspension, after I got it dialed to my weight, is also impressive. The front end is so stiff thanks to those massive 50mm forks. The bike just BEGS for twisties. I can't believe I held off this long on an MV....it definitly lives up to it reputation. And I'm never looking back....

I would definitly have to say, Larry at BMW-Triumph in Charlotte, NC was of the utmost in help and customer service. The entire staff there was insanely happy go lucky and laid back, and willing to answer any questions. They also had a "sit on anything in here" policy. Which I found great, cause almost every other dealership you goto, regardless of whether you're intrested in buying or not, won't let you sit on thier higher end bikes. These guys were letting me sit on $30K BMWs, Rocket 3s, the F41000, all while I was just WAITING to get my bike checked over/prepped. The people there are great, and my next MV purchase is going to be there, despite the fact I have to drive 6 hours, and the Miami dealer is closer...thier service in Charlotte is deifnitly worth the drive!!!

Let me know what you guys think!!!!!
