Spark plug connectors

Hi all,

I have a none starting Hawk/Storm. I changed the ccts to manuals, reset the timings on both front and back cams and put it all back together. I have her turning over, fuel there but no spark.🥵

I checked the voltage of the coils and they're fine thank God. However, I checked the continuity of the spark plug connectors and I found that back cylinder one was open circuit.
Did I read somewhere or am I delusional, that if there is no spark at the back cylinder neither will fire?

Thanks in advance, I'm sick of getting the bus with the unwashed masses😂

Not true.

Twist the wire tight in the cap, they just unscrew. You can cut off a 1/4" and rethread it in. With the plug in the cap, clip a double-ended alligator clip jumper to the plug threads and ground on the bike and crank it over and watch for a spark with the lights off.

Better yet go to CBR600 stick coils; do a search...

Still have 5.2 gallon tank as stopped using it because my prostate wouldn't let me empty the stock tank before my bladder.

At the now long gone Highland House in Highland Park, IL (yes that HP where the July 4th mass shooting took place). On a good Sunday 400 riders would congregate.

Going to buddies to enlarge spare tank to 5.2 gallons.
