Locked out of Storage :(

Well, i need help! Two days ago, i used my storage and then i got home unloaded my stuff and now, locked. It seems the cable disconnected or something. I can turn the key, but it doesn't do anything. I need advice in breaking into a storage box. how do you do it?

While your right hand is holding the key in the (clockwise) release position, hook the fingers of your left hand at the seat's front edge and yank to the rear.

Unless damaged from another incident, that cable isn't going to break from use.

A little extra info. I am using a corbin seat. Also, i think the cable came off. I am pretty sure it didnt break, it might of. I did try what you just mentioned the other night. I need a trick to get in there if the lock is broken basically.

And yes, this bike has been through a bit. I am pretty sure it was totaled before i bought it 5 years ago. I have had to fix a bunch of stuff on it. The A** cleaned the title before he sold it.

A pair of thin long pliers and a flashlight and lots, lots of patience...

Don't ask me how I know...

And BTW once you get it open, pop the cable in place and take a plier and snug up the position where the sleeve clips into the metal to make it stay put... Mine slipped out twice before I figured out the cause...
