Yours could be different, since ours is a 1956.

Yes, engine cowling fasteners are usually 1/4 turn fasteners. The wing upper skin is a structural panel on the wing that is held in place with 8/32 screws.

Do you fly? if so, you can fly on down some morning...airport code E70.

The drill press and vise are at the hangar. You can come out anyday you are off and use them.

Hat's off for a short ride after Just Nick got his jets sorted out. We blasted out for a lunch with TxSuperChicken before he goes back to Iraq for a few months.

The run up 734 is off the stop for about 7-8 miles then you stop again. Gives a great chance to roll on and see what the carbs are doing. The farther north you get the traffic thins out.

Nick can fill everybody in on the jet sizes he used and what we found when we got back to my shop. Thanks for the ride, Nick. Good job.

178/180 mains 45 pilots needles on second from bottom clip. We were mainly riding at 80-90 mph, and I was keeping the RPM's up until we reached said speeds. We found the plug showing that, at least the front, the mixture was quite lean. So I shall probably be bumping the mains up to a 180/185 combo. Doug, just let me know when you have time. We can install your jet kit and then swap out my jets.

Sounds like you boys had fun...

KD- sounds good on the hangar... possibly Sunday, just depends on a few factors. Brandon is more than likely going to get the 2008 R6, only 5000 cash... not a bad deal.

It was a pretty decent ride. I hope we can get some twisty riding in soon. Slab-riding isn't my thing, unless it's on a tourer.

-He got a year newer bike
-His insurance went down
-He almost paid off the ninja with the insurance $ left over...

This wreck actually put him on top (who would have guessed)

I think that if I have 2 Doug's hanging over my shoulder telling me how to do the CCT's I think I might be able to manage LOL... KD will be sitting in the background asking "how many pilots does it take to change a... ?" lol
